It’s no secret that recently Blue Lagoon became a mess; over-crowded, too many commercial boats, and operators offering deck chairs and umbrellas, which took all over  the island, while charging more money than they agreed to do with the authorities.

 

The minister of Tourism, Edward Zammit-Lewis  tweeted “Unacceptable situation in Comino; MTA to step up & take necessary legal action. Will continue to improve “.

Signs listing maximum allowed prices would soon be put up at both the Blue Lagoon and Santa Marija Bay, the Malta Tourism Authority said, as you can see below.

It is urged that anyone who had been overcharged by the Comino Operators, to call on +356 2291 5452 or +356 2291 5453 or email info@visitmalta.com. Phone lines are open Mondays to Saturdays between 9am and 5pm and on Sundays and public holidays between 9am and 12.30pm.
